Storytellers Macon: Nefarious

Storytellers Macon: Live at The Grand Opera House

January 16: Nefarious

The theme is Nefarious: Storytellers is taking a ride on the dark side. Everyone strives to live in the light, but a touch of the wicked – or more – creeps into even the purest individuals. The encounters we have with monsters, criminal elements, and sordid activities often shake us to our core, but stay buried beneath layers of politeness. Now, let them out. In this show, we’ll open up about experiences with an edge. We might be the sinners, we might be sinned against, but either way prepare for an evening of the deliciously detestable – and the hope that survives.

Featured storytellers for the evening include:

  • Steven Fulbright
  • Carl Myers
  • Randy Heart
  • Tonja Khabir
  • Kevin Bradley
  • Brittny Johnson
  • Holly Cole

Your friends and neighbors speak their truth. For the past five years, Storytellers Macon has been asking people around Middle Georgia to tell their stories. The ritual has grown from front porches and bonfire tales to monthly open events at Grant’s Lounge, Amerson River Park, and now stART Up Studios. This limited series will bring the best stories back for a heightened presentation at The Grand, which will be recorded live for a new podcast series about the real-life souls in the city where soul lives.

The heartbeat of Georgia’s best stories!

The Grand Opera House values the health of our visitors and staff and is implementing a safety plan which includes social distancing, temperature checks, reserved seating and requiring face coverings.
