Ronnie Milsap Benefit Concert

Legendary Country Music Hall of Famer and six-time Grammy Award-winning singer Ronnie Milsap will perform a benefit concert for two of United Way of Central Georgia’s initiatives: Pink Promise United and The MERRIE Christmas Project. He has had 40 No. 1 country hits, a number only surpassed by George Strait and Conway Twitty.

Milsap, is no stranger to Central Georgia. He has family in the area and has visited for years. He had a deep connection with Merrie Kaplan, for whom The MERRIE Christmas Project is named. Merrie had the genetic developmental disorder, Williams Syndrome, and passed away August 22, 2019. United Way of Central Georgia, alongside Merrie’s parents, Mike and Nancy Kaplan, then created The MERRIE Christmas Project as a fundraising initiative aimed to provide gifts, holiday décor, and food to families in need during the Christmas season, Merrie’s favorite time of the year. Milsap also has a heart for Pink Promise United as his sister-in-law is a breast cancer survivor and Macon resident.
