Idol_JacobHSCalifornia native Jacob Lusk was 23 years old when he competed in season 10 of American Idol. After placing fifth that season, Jacob was part of the 2011 international American Idols Live tour. Pop and R&B sensation Jacob Lusk is poised to be one of the music industry’s next great talents. Lusk’s humble beginnings took him from the choir loft of his hometown church, to winning over the hearts of over thirty million television viewers weekly. His Rendition of “God Bless the Child” was considered by the judges to be “the best ever” on American Idol. Subsequent performances of the Motown Classic “You’re All I Need to Get By” and “A House is Not a Home” drew critical acclaim that garnered comparisons to musical icons Aretha Franklin, and Luther Vandross. Prior to his stint on American Idol, Lusk had been featured in numerous plays across the Los Angeles area and had worked with late west coast Hip Hop pioneer Nate Dogg, who collaborated with Dr. Dre, Tupac and Snoop Dogg throughout his illustrious career. Lusk often credits Nate for launching his musical journey. Within a year of honing his craft, Lusk has performed with Empress of Soul Gladys Knight, Stevie Wonder, and gospel star Kirk Franklin and has already recorded with super-producers Tricky Stewart, Rodney Jerkins, Rock Mafia, Harvey Mason Jr., and the legendary Don Was. A talented singer, songwriter, and actor, Jacob Lusk has proven to be a triple threat in the entertainment industry and this Compton Crooner is now prepared to take his uniquely distinguished sound to the world. Idol_VonSmithHSVon Smith is a Kansas City, Missouri native who was most recently seen on E!’s “Opening Act”, where his experience was documented as Lady Gaga chose him to be her opening act on her tour in Australia in 2012. First introduced to the world when his version of “And I Am Telling You (I’m Not going)” from Dreamgirls became a sensation on YouTube, Von Smith has garnered a legion of fans and performed on some of the most celebrated stages, including ABC’s “The View”, Bravo’s “The Kathy Griffin Show”, BET’s “106th and Park”, featured on MTV News, VH1′s “Best Week Ever”, E’s “The Soup”, TV Azteca’s “La Academia” (Mexico), “Up Junior” (China), and American Idol season 8 as one of the top 17 finalists. Idol_HaleyHSLong-legged Texan beauty Haley Scarnato was catapulted from a regional favorite to the international stage in American Idol season 6, where she earned a spot in Top 10. Haley began a performing career in her hometown of San Antonio, Tex., where she was a champion gymnast. By the age of 15, Haley’s Olympic dreams were shattered with the dislocation of both shoulders. Performing however was a passion so all of Haley’s creative energies shifted from the balanced beam to singing lessons. Haley began rigorously working her voice and even though she was raised on country music, she studied styles of many great singers including Elvis Presley, Faith Hill, Christina Aguilera, Martina McBride, Michael Jackson, George Straight, Garth Brooks, Stevie Wonder and mostly – Celine Dion (her “Canadian Idol” who Haley later had the honor of meeting). Haley developed her musical chops on a local level first by becoming lead singer in Texas Six. Haley, who was nicknamed “Legs” on American Idol, was often teased by Simon and international press about her “gifted appendages” which the hit TV show Extra highlighted in their American Idol feature. Other national TV appearances included: Regis & Kelly, Jay Leno, Access Hollywood, Mike & Juliet, and Ellen. Haley is currently promoting some of her recently recorded country songs including Don’t Kiss Me, Ashes or Embers, Never Even Cried, which were recorded at Curb Studio with top Nashville producer/musicians. Haley also cut a song with Danielle Brisebois, who wrote the hit songs Unwritten and Pocketfull of Sunshine. Click here for a video preview of Haley!

In 1995, Berry’s single Your Love Amazes Me earned him a Grammy nomination, joining the 18 other hit songs of his that made it to the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. In fact, many of Berry’s albums have gone gold and platinum, earning awards from the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music. Still, for Berry, the Christmas concert is special, as it provides him with a chance to share his faith and, according to his website, he views his performances as part of “his walk with Christ, (where) his calling has been to share God’s love with his audience. Audiences nationwide agree, selling out each stop on a regular basis, and joining together to celebrate with song and good company what the season means to them — family, friends and faith.
