Current Season
2008-2009 Intensive Program for Grades Four and Five
The core program includes attendance at all three of the following performances: The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley, Beakman Live!, and Songs from the Soul. To enroll your school or grade level in the full Intensive Program, call (478) 301-5461. Cost is $15 per student to participate in the full program. Single-show tickets for small groups will be on sale in August, based on availability. Call The Grand Opera House at (478) 301-5470 for single-show tickets.
Schools enrolled in the Intensive Program receive:
- Lesson Plans tailored to Grade 4 or 5 that meet Georgia Performance Standards
- DVD Video Lesson introducing the performance and educational topic
- GrandKids Gazette worksheet that reinforces video lesson with vocabulary, review questions, and activities
- Online Educational Resources, including answer keys and links to related websites
- Invitation to participate in annual writing and artwork contest.
