The Grand Opera House is known as the premiere historic theatre in Central Georgia, and one of our region’s most cherished cultural gems. Now a performing arts center of Mercer University, we are proud of our 22 seasons of Broadway touring productions, classical, rock, and country music concerts, stand-up comedy, and a full season of educational programs through our GrandKids series. We also remain committed to hosting outstanding performances by community-based arts and cultural organizations from throughout the region, including the Macon Symphony Orchestra, The Nutcracker of Middle Georgia, and many others.
Your generosity helps sustain the legacy of this 133-year-old theatre and makes it possible for all of us to enjoy high-quality, professional entertainment right here in Macon. Please consider adding your name to the list!
