The Grand Opera House is located at 651 Mulberry Street in historic downtown Macon, Georgia. You may purchase tickets at The Grand Opera House Box Office via windows in the lobby, weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. You will find directions to this location below.
A satellite Box Office located in the University Center on the campus of Mercer University is open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Click here for directions.
The Administrative Offices for The Grand are located at 400 Poplar Street, at the intersection of Poplar and Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.
Directions to The Grand Opera House
FROM ATLANTA/I-75 SOUTH
Take I-75 South from Atlanta to Macon.
Where I-75 and I-16 split, take I-16 towards Savannah, stay to the right.
Exit at first exit – Spring Street and take a right at the bottom of the ramp onto Spring.
Take a left at the 2nd stoplight onto Walnut Street.
At the 2nd light, turn right onto First Street. The parking lot is on the left side of the street, adjacent to the Grand Opera House.
FROM I-75 NORTH
Take I-75 North to Forsyth Street exit.
At top of ramp, take a right onto Forsyth Street.
At the 2nd light, take a left onto College Street.
At the 2nd light on College take a right onto Georgia Avenue.
Where Georgia splits, stay to the right as street becomes Mulberry Street.
The Grand is between the second and third lights (between First & Second Streets) on the left.
Just prior to the third light (Second Street) on the left side of the street, make a U-turn at the turnaround. The parking lot is on the far side of the Grand on the right, and is open to the public in the evenings and on weekends.
